Mountain students sing rap to promote prevention of child marriage
The student mentioned is Nguyen Cuu Quang Ha (14 years old), an 8A student at A Xing Primary and Secondary School, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province.
Sharing about the rap song "A Loi" propaganda version to prevent and combat child marriage and incestuous marriage, Ha said that in early May, the school organized a propaganda campaign on the issue of child marriage, and she was assigned to create a performance to participate.
Ha thought that if she used the old form of propaganda, it would be difficult to achieve high efficiency, so she decided to go online to find a new form of propaganda.

After many days of thinking, Ha and teacher Phan Thi Quynh Giao, the school's music teacher, decided to choose the song "A Loi" by Rapper Double2T and use the rap version to prevent and fight against child marriage and incestuous marriage on social networks to perform.
"When choosing this rap song, Ha and I spent 3 days editing some of the lyrics to make it suitable and practicing the rap. I was also surprised when Ha's rap received a lot of encouragement from teachers, parents, and friends. The school also brought this rap song to the villages to perform and promote it," Ms. Giao confided.
Ha's rap was also shared on media channels and attracted many people's attention and comments. In the clip, Ha wears traditional costumes, a red scarf, and performs the rap confidently, with good and meaningful lyrics.

Quang Ha grew up in a poor family in Lia commune, Huong Hoa district. His father was a farmer and his mother was a small trader. Understanding his parents' hardships, Ha always told himself to try his best to study well.
In the place where Ha lives, child marriage still occurs, and it is not uncommon for school-age students to have to drop out of school to get married.
"Because of getting married early, many people drop out of school, have children, and stay at home and in the village. With this song, I just hope that people will understand more about early marriage and incestuous marriage, thereby implementing it better and avoiding the consequences," Ha shared.
Ha also confided that she was very happy and pleased when her rap song received a lot of attention. However, Ha never dared to think of becoming famous, using rap to spread the message of preventing and combating child marriage was just an experience, a way of spreading the message.
In addition to being the owner of the rap that caused a "storm on the internet", Ha is also an active member of the school's Children's Rights Club to promote the prevention of child marriage.
In addition to studying well, Ha also actively participates in class and school activities (Photo: Tai Vo).
Mr. Nguyen Mai Trong, Principal of A Xing Primary and Secondary School, said that Ha is a good class monitor, a good student, has a high sense of learning, and regularly participates in activities organized by the class and school.
Ha is one of the young propagandists who is trusted by teachers and friends when assigned tasks, especially in activities related to children's issues, preventing and combating child marriage and incestuous marriage.
"The rap song by Ha and her teacher is memorized by many students in the school. The song is also being propagated in villages and hamlets. Hopefully, this new form of propaganda will be the most effective message to prevent and combat child marriage," said Mr. Trong.
