The laurel wreath winner of the final week of the 24th Road to Olympia television competition went to Tran Tien Dat (Ninh Binh) with a breathtaking finish.
The 3rd week of March, 4th quarter of the 24th year of Road to Olympia took place this afternoon, witnessing the dramatic competition of the four contestants competing in this week's match, including: Pham Phuong Lan (Nguyen Trai High School, Thai Binh), Do Viet Hieu (Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted, Quang Nam), Tran Thien Hoan My (FPT High School, Can Tho) and Tran Tien Dat (Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted, Ninh Binh).

After the first 6 individual questions of the Start-up round, Phuong Lan - the first person to enter the round won 10 points, Viet Hieu got 30 points, Hoan My got 20 points and Tien Dat finished the round with 20 points.
In the general warm-up round, the contestants' scores changed: Phuong Lan had 15 points, Tien Dat still had 20 points, Viet Hieu had 30 points and Hoan My was the leader with 45 points.
The keyword to be found in the Obstacle Course this week consists of 11 letters. The first selected horizontal line has the question: “Which word is missing in the following poem: “The little guerrilla raised his gun high/ The American walked tall and bowed his head/ So that’s it! Bigger guts than big bellies/ … not necessarily men!”? (The Photo, To Huu)” . The contestants were unable to provide an answer.
The second selected horizontal row has the question: “According to information from the book “Vietnamese Surnames and Names” (Social Sciences Publishing House), which surname is second in the list of most popular surnames in our country?” Phuong Lan, Hoan My and Tien Dat scored points with the answer “Tran”.
When the first hint image box appeared, male student Viet Hieu quickly pressed the bell to claim the right to answer the mystery. With the correct answer “Tran Hung Dao”, the male student from Quang Nam took the lead with 80 points. Hoan My got 50 points, Tien Dat got 30 points and Phuong Lan got 25 points.

In the Acceleration round, all contestants tried their best to break through and make the most of every opportunity to score points. After four questions, Hoan My led with 185 points, Viet Hieu 180 points, Tien Dat 130 points, Phuong Lan 65 points.
Entering the decisive round – Finish Line, Hoan My was the first contestant to compete, choosing three questions worth 20 – 20 – 20 points. Hoan My only answered the second question correctly, leaving Tien Dat to score the first question and Viet Hieu to score the last question. The female student regretted her position with 165 points.
With 200 points, Viet Hieu chose three questions with the same value of 20 - 20 -20 points. Viet Hieu won the second question, letting Tien Dat win the last question. Viet Hieu returned to position with 200 points.
Tien Dat chose three questions worth 20 – 20 – 30 points. The male student answered 2/3 of the questions correctly to finish with 210 points and temporarily lead the race.
Phuong Lan chose three questions worth 20 – 30 – 30 points and chose Hope Star for the last question. Phuong Lan scored the first question; but let Tien Dat score the second question. This female student came in with 25 points.
Also thanks to winning points on his opponent's question, Tran Tien Dat (Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted, Ninh Binh) rose to the top with 240 points, winning the laurel wreath in the third week of March of Road to Olympia 24.

Second place went to Do Viet Hieu (Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted, Quang Nam) with 200 points. Tran Thien Hoan My (FPT High School, Can Tho) with 165 points and Pham Phuong Lan (Nguyen Trai High School, Thai Binh) with 25 points, both came in third.
