Le Thien Quan is a 12th grade student at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted ( Quang Tri ). At the national high school excellent student exam for the 2023-2024 school year, Quan won first prize in information technology.
This is the third consecutive year that Quan has won the national excellent student competition. In previous years, Quan won second and third prizes.

According to Quan, he has a special passion for computer science. With this subject, Quan can practice problem-solving thinking and creativity. He can spend a lot of time and sit all day with the computer.
Since middle school, Quan has won first prize in the provincial competition for excellent students in math and information technology. With impressive results in the competitions for excellent students, along with his passion and ability for information technology, Le Thien Quan was admitted directly to Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted.
Quan has a very positive attitude towards learning. He always sets himself a discipline in following a daily schedule of self-study and research. He said that the most important thing is to concentrate on studying to achieve results.

Le Thien Quan always builds for himself a very scientific learning method. For computer science, he often practices every day, actively searches and does exercises on the internet and textbooks.
In addition to the national excellent student award in informatics, in grades 10 and 11, Quan also won a gold medal in informatics in the competition for excellent students of specialized schools in the coastal and northern delta regions; a gold medal in the Central Highlands - Central region informatics Olympic; second prize in the national ICPC programming contest; and first prize in young informatics in the central region.
"Winning first prize in information technology at the national excellent student competition gave me many opportunities. That result made me very happy, beyond my expectations. My achievements are thanks to the teachers of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted. The teachers are always dedicated and responsible in guiding and imparting knowledge to me," Quan shared.
With the score achieved in the national excellent student selection exam, Quan was summoned to attend the 2024 Olympic team selection exam, scheduled to be held in March by the Ministry of Education and Training .

Quan is focusing on studying and preparing for the upcoming entrance exam. Talking about his future plans, Quan said he plans to study computer science at the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University, and if he has the opportunity, he will look for a scholarship to study abroad.
Teacher Hoang Van Dieu, Head of the National Excellent Student Team in Information Technology of Quang Tri province, is proud that Quan is an intelligent student, has a talent for information technology and a serious learning attitude.
Friends and everyone love Quan not only because of his "huge" academic achievements, he is also a very active and talented student, plays the guitar well, has a soulful voice and loves sports.
