Accordingly, the incident occurred on the morning of October 17 at An Thoi High School (Mo Cay Nam District) during recess. The group of students who beat their friend were three 10th grade male students including NTD, NVN and PVT. The student who was beaten was HKD, a classmate.
The incident was filmed by a student in the class and posted online, causing outrage among many students and parents.
According to the video, during recess, HKD was sitting at his desk when the three male students approached D.'s desk to talk. After a while of exchanging words, the group of male students suddenly rushed in and punched D. in the head and back of the neck, causing D. to fall to the floor.
Not stopping there, one of the three male students jumped in and kicked D., making the victim unable to sit up.
According to Mr. Vo Van Be Hai, immediately after HKD was beaten, the school took him to Cu Lao Minh Regional Hospital, Mo Cay Nam District for examination and health monitoring. The examination results showed that HKD suffered soft tissue injuries and was discharged on October 18.
