Speaking to VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Le Xuan Hung (31 years old, the male shipper who was assaulted) said that he still had a headache, was dizzy and was being taken by the police for injury assessment.

At noon on February 11, after working at Yen Phu Ward Police Station (Tay Ho District, Hanoi), the male shipper who was assaulted by a Lexus car driver at alley 310/50 Nghi Tam had a quick exchange with VietNamNet reporter.
The male shipper who was assaulted was Mr. Le Xuan Hung (31 years old). Mr. Hung said that in the morning of the same day, he was invited by the Yen Phu Ward Police to the headquarters to give a statement and to learn about the incident.
"Until now, I still have a headache, am dizzy, my right eye is still swollen, torn in many places and I have a nosebleed. The police have taken my statement and the incident. The police are taking me for a medical examination to assess my injuries," said Mr. Le Xuan Hung.
According to Mr. Hung, since the incident happened, he has not received an apology or inquiries from the attacker or their family.
"The incident happened very quickly. After the car collided with my motorbike, the driver got out, shouted loudly, and jumped in to hit and punch me," said Mr. Hung.
Previously, on the evening of February 10, a clip was circulated on social media recording a young man believed to be a shipper being assaulted by a middle-aged man, suspected to be due to a traffic collision.
A security camera at a household in alley 310/50 Nghi Tam recorded a scene where a young man driving a motorbike had a conflict with a man driving a Lexus. After that, the man driving the Lexus repeatedly used his hands to hit and punch the young man in the face.
Not stopping there, this man repeatedly "kneeled" and kicked the young man in the face. The climax of the incident was when the man took off the male shipper's helmet to use as an attack weapon.
By the morning of February 11, the leader of Tay Ho District Police confirmed the incident, and at the same time, Yen Phu Ward Police invited those involved to the headquarters to take statements.
