On the afternoon of April 4, Dong Thap Petroleum Trading Joint Stock Company (PETIMEX) held a conference of employee delegates in 2025. 110 delegates representing 237 officers and employees of the company attended the conference.

Mr. Le Thanh Man - Party Secretary, General Director of the Company said that in 2024, the company achieved the following results in gasoline and lubricant business: total purchased gasoline output: 1,114,106 m3, reaching 89.3% of the yearly plan (1,248,000 m3), down 7.2% compared to the same period in 2023 (1,200,171 m3); Total gasoline and oil output sold was 1,109,325 m3, reaching 88.89% of the annual plan (1,248,000 m3) and down 6.7% over the same period in 2023 (1,189,559 m3) (of which, domestic sales were 726,962 m3, reaching 97.19% of the annual plan (748,000 m3) and up 4.9% over the same period in 2023 (693,012 m3); re-export sales were 382,363 m3, reaching 76.5% of the annual plan (500,000 m3) and down 23% over the same period in 2023 (496,547 m3)); Lubricant output sold 90,575 liters, reaching 78.8% of the yearly plan (115,000 liters) and decreasing 15.6% compared to the same period in 2023 (107,288 liters).

Last year, PETIMEX achieved revenue of VND 18,900 billion, reaching 103.8% of the plan (VND 18,208 billion); pre-tax profit of VND 105 billion, reaching 100% of the plan, up 46.2% over the same period in 2023 (VND 71.8 billion); paid to the state budget VND 1,904 billion (of which VND 694 billion was paid to Dong Thap province and VND 1,137 billion was paid in import tax), up 51.5% over the same period in 2023 (VND 1,256 billion).

The company always pays salaries to employees in accordance with the commitment in the Collective Labor Agreement and the salary and bonus regulations of the unit. In 2024, the lowest income of employees is 11 million VND/person/month, 6,320,000 VND/person/month higher than the level committed in the Collective Labor Agreement (not lower than the minimum wage of region I); the average income of employees in the year is 20 million VND/person/month, 11.5 million VND/person/month higher than the level committed in the Collective Labor Agreement (not lower than 8,500,000 VND/person/month).

According to the 2025 plan, PETIMEX will continue to maintain the current market, expand a number of markets; complete existing facilities, focus on accelerating the progress of key projects of Hau Giang petroleum port warehouse to promote strengths; strengthen inspection and supervision to reduce operating costs, prevent waste, contributing to bringing profits to the unit; strive for an 8% increase in output compared to 2024.
