Nam Dinh holds the 26th session of the 19th Provincial People's Council

Mr. Le Quoc Chinh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said: This is a meeting to resolve urgent matters at the request of the Provincial People's Committee, in order to promptly meet the socio-economic development tasks in the province in accordance with the provisions of law; at the same time, continue to implement the regulations of the Central Government in the implementation of the organizational arrangement of the political system. Thereby, the Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on important contents in the fields of: Finance, public investment, land, and internal affairs.

Mr. Le Quoc Chinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered the opening speech.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed and discussed the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee; the verification reports of the Economic - Budget Committee and the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council; based on the provisions of current laws, the Provincial People's Council objectively and comprehensively assessed and unanimously passed 8 resolutions, including: Resolution on supplementing, abolishing, and replacing a number of contents in Appendix I, II, IV issued with Resolution No. 78/2023/NQ-HDND dated July 14, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council; Resolution on approving the addition to the list of works and projects requiring land recovery in 2025 in the province; Resolution on approving the addition to the list of works and projects converting the purpose of rice-growing land to other purposes in 2025 in the province; Resolution on adjusting the Public Investment Plan in 2024; Resolution to abolish Resolution No. 62/2019/NQ-HDND dated December 7, 2019 of the Provincial People's Council; Resolution to adjust the budget estimates of some equipment in the Appendix issued with Resolution 120/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2024 of the Nam Dinh Provincial People's Council; Resolution on the temporary assignment of additional State administrative management staff to the Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade in 2025; Resolution to abolish Resolution No. 04/2025/NQ-HDND dated February 19, 2025 of the Nam Dinh Provincial People's Council regulating additional support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the implementation of organizational restructuring under the management scope of Nam Dinh province.

In particular, the Resolution to abolish Resolution No. 04/2025/NQ-HDND dated February 19, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council regulating additional support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the implementation of organizational restructuring under the management scope of Nam Dinh province received special attention from delegates.

The contents considered and decided at the meeting are an important legal basis for all levels and sectors of the province to implement, promptly meet the requirements and tasks of socio-economic development in the area and arrange the organizational apparatus under the management of the province.
