Grasping the implementation status of the Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) expressway project

According to the approved design, the project has a section passing through Chon Thanh town with a length of 12.7km; the total expected land area to be recovered is 134.4 hectares, passing through the communes of Minh Lap, Minh Thang, Nha Bich and Minh Thanh ward with a total of 597 plots. The total expected land area to be resettled for households and individuals whose land is recovered in the project is ^22,472.05m2 with 201 plots.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Tan Phu spoke at the meeting.

The People's Committee of Chon Thanh town has directed strongly the management of construction within the scope of the expressway project route; directed localities to establish propaganda and mobilization teams so that people in the project area understand the purpose and significance of the project. Through meetings, propaganda and mobilization, people are all excited about the project implementation policy; at the same time, they have coordinated very well with local authorities and relevant agencies in the work of measuring and counting assets on land for plots of land affected by the project. The majority of people want the State to compensate and support the recovered area satisfactorily and want to be resettled on the spot.

Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Committee Nguyen Anh Tai spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, the leaders of Chon Thanh Town People's Committee also recommended: After the project is approved, the provincial departments and agencies should promptly hand over and provide complete legal documents of the project, so that the town can develop a land acquisition plan and compensation and site clearance work for the project in accordance with the prescribed procedures. It is necessary to arrange funds to hire a consulting unit to determine land prices for the project.

The representative of the working delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee highly appreciated the initiative of Chon Thanh town in mobilizing and propagating the project. At the same time, the working delegation will summarize the recommendations and report to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee. Thereby, the provincial leaders will direct all levels and sectors to effectively implement the project, creating high consensus among the people.
