Speaking at the signing ceremony of the contract to deploy electronic authentication services between RAR Center and Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, said that the connection between VNeID and Open Banking of Nam A Bank is an important milestone, demonstrating a strong step forward in promoting the application of electronic identification and authentication technology in the financial and banking sector, contributing to the realization of the national digital transformation strategy and the development of digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
“The RAR Center and Nam A Bank need to coordinate closely, promote the strengths of each party as well as resolutely carry out tasks, continue to innovate, develop more products and services applied from population data, identity cards, and electronic identification. This will be an important foundation to improve the quality of payment activities, promote socio-economic development, and at the same time bring many practical and safe utilities to people and businesses,” Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong further emphasized.
RAR Center is a public service unit under the National Population Data Center, Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Ministry of Public Security with the function of researching, developing and providing products applying population data and citizen identification. In particular, RAR Center provides electronic authentication services and implements Project 06/CP to ensure timely, fast, effective and in accordance with regulations on ensuring information security and safety.
