(NLDO) - There will be two times when red will completely invade the Moon in 2025, and it can be observed from many continents.
According to Time and Date, in 2025 the world will witness two "blood moons" as well as two "Moon eating the Sun" events. For Vietnamese people, the most notable event will be the spectacular event that will take place in September.
1. Blood Moon in March
The blood moon, or total lunar eclipse, will occur on the night of March 13 or 14 depending on the time zone of each country, visible from Europe, part of Asia, most of Oceania, most of Africa, the Americas, the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Arctic as well as the Antarctic.
According to Time and Date 's calculations, the lunar eclipse will fall at noon on March 14, Vietnam time, which means Vietnamese people will not be able to observe it.
The total lunar eclipse, or blood moon, will begin at 1:26 p.m. and end at 2:31 p.m.
Before and after this phase, viewers can witness penumbral and partial lunar eclipses, which are when the Moon is obscured by a shadow or partially reddened.

2. Partial solar eclipse 3-29
This eclipse will be visible in Europe, northern Asia, northern and western Africa, most of North America, northern South America, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Arctic. Vietnam will once again be out of the viewing area.

The eclipse will occur at around 3:50 p.m. on March 29, Vietnam time, reaching its peak at 5:47 p.m. and ending at 7:43 p.m.
During this eclipse, the Moon will be seen as a huge black shadow, "eating" almost the entire Sun.
3. September Blood Moon
This time Vietnam is located in the most favorable area to observe the total lunar eclipse.
In addition, Europe, other Asian countries, Oceania, Africa, Western North America, Eastern South America, the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic and Antarctica can also see the lunar eclipse.

4. Partial solar eclipse 9-21
This eclipse's viewing area is tilted too far toward the South Pole, covering most of Antarctica.
In terms of inhabited areas, only New Zealand, a small part of Australia, and several small islands in Oceania are visible.
