The Military Admissions Board - Ministry of National Defense has just sent a document to agencies, units, and schools regarding the admission of full-time military colleges and universities in 2025.
Regarding the admission method, the military school block uses 3 methods including: Direct admission, priority admission for candidates who have won national and international awards; Admission based on the capacity assessment test scores organized by two National Universities; Considering high school graduation exam scores. Thus, compared to 2024, this year the military school block has abandoned the admission method of considering academic records.
Regarding the admission combinations, military schools use 13 combinations (an increase of 6 combinations compared to last year), including: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D02 (Math, Literature, Russian), D04 (Math, Literature, Chinese), C01 (Literature, Math, Physics), C02 (Literature, Math, Chemistry), C03 (Literature, Math, History), C04 (Literature, Math, Geography), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), A0T (Math, Physics, IT).
Regarding the rules for converting equivalent scores of entrance thresholds and admission scores between admission methods, admission methods, and admission combinations, the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense requires schools to research and propose conversion plans after receiving instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training.
In addition, please note that the school only considers candidates who meet the preliminary requirements and meet the standards set by the Ministry of National Defense. Candidates are required to make their first choice when applying to military schools.
Details of admission combinations to 20 regular military universities and colleges in 2025:
In 2025, 20 military schools are expected to enroll about 4,400 military students, a decrease of nearly 1,000 compared to last year. The 2024 benchmark scores of military schools range from 20 to 28.55 points.
