Mr. Le Hung Lam - Director of the Bank for Social Policies, Quang Nam branch, said that the total policy credit capital in Quang Nam by December 31, 2024 is more than 8 trillion VND (an increase of more than 655.5 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year).

Of which, central capital is over 6 trillion VND (an increase of over 353.3 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, accounting for 74.98% of total capital). Capital mobilized through organizations, individuals and through savings and loan groups (TK&VV) is over 1.2 trillion VND (an increase of over 152.6 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, accounting for 15.26% of total capital). Capital entrusted from provincial and district budgets is over 789 billion VND (an increase of over 159.5 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, accounting for 9.76% of total capital).

By December 31, 2024, the total outstanding balance of policy credit programs reached more than VND 8 trillion (an increase of more than VND 660 billion compared to the beginning of the year, a growth of 9.4%), completing 100% of the plan assigned by the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies with 141,283 customers with outstanding debt. Of which, the outstanding balance of central capital sources was more than VND 7.2 trillion (an increase of more than VND 505 billion compared to the beginning of the year); the outstanding balance of local budget capital sources was more than VND 778 billion (an increase of more than VND 155.1 billion compared to the beginning of the year).

Total overdue debt and debt write-off of all branches only accounts for 0.18% of total outstanding debt. The whole province has 4 units with no overdue debt: Hoi An, Phuoc Son, Dong Giang and Bac Tra My.

By December 31, 2024, the whole province has 3,380 savings and credit groups. Of which, 3,252 savings and credit groups are classified as good (accounting for 96.21%), 126 savings and credit groups are classified as fair (accounting for 3.72%), and 2 groups are classified as average (accounting for 0.05%).

In 2024, the total outstanding policy credit balance entrusted through 4 socio-political organizations will reach more than 8 trillion VND with 140,785 outstanding customers (accounting for 99.7% of total outstanding loans).

Local capital entrusted to NHCS increased by more than 710.5 billion VND, bringing the total entrusted capital of Quang Nam to more than 789 billion VND. Typically, some localities with high budget entrustment to NHCS include Hoi An with more than 39.2 billion VND, Tam Ky with more than 29 billion VND, Nui Thanh with more than 13.6 billion VND...

Policy credit has supported investment in production and business for more than 48,300 poor and near-poor households, contributing to ensuring social security, implementing sustainable poverty reduction, building new rural areas, and developing the economy and society of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

In 2025, the Bank for Social Policies, Quang Nam branch, strives to increase capital and credit balance by 8-10%, with outstanding balance reaching more than VND 8.7 trillion, promptly meeting capital needs for poor, near-poor, and policy households.
