In 2024, provinces and cities in the Southeast region welcomed over 73 million tourists, including more than 67 million domestic visitors and 6,723,940 international visitors. The total number of visitors increased by 12.6% compared to 2023. Total tourism revenue reached VND 215,178 billion, up 18.8% compared to 2023.

Accompanying the provinces in the Southern key economic region, Binh Phuoc province has made efforts to exploit new tours and routes, linking with Tay Ninh, Binh Duong provinces and Ho Chi Minh City to maintain and put into operation 3 typical tourism products of the province (return to the source tourism, forest eco-tourism and weekend picnic tourism).

Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh delivered a speech at the conference.

Binh Phuoc has also developed two new tourism products: Spiritual tourism associated with meditation instruction activities; volunteer tourism associated with experiential activities at many famous local tourist destinations such as Ta Thiet Regional Command Base, Bu Gia Map National Park Eco-tourism Area, Stieng Ethnic Cultural Conservation Area in Bom Bo, Bu Lach Grassland Tourist Area, etc.

In 2024, Binh Phuoc will attract over 20 travel agencies with about 450,000 visitors from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Binh Thuan, Quang Nam, Dak Lak, Kon Tum and provinces in the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta. The total number of visitors to Binh Phuoc will reach 1.5 million with total revenue of over 1,200 billion VND.

In 2025, the plan for cooperation and development of tourism in the Southeast region will focus on key contents: Developing regional tourism products; promoting, advertising and training tourism human resources. Binh Phuoc province is honored to organize a major event in the first month of 2025, which is a space to display, promote culture, tourism and introduce typical cuisine of the Southeast region in a series of activities to celebrate Phuoc Long Liberation Day on January 6, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh emphasized: Binh Phuoc has just announced the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. The province is focusing on key, inter-regional transport infrastructures with wide-reaching effects such as the North-South Expressway project in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section and the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway project. These are all important events, promising to be the driving force to promote the tourism sector to have stronger changes. In 2025, Binh Phuoc sets a goal of attracting about 1.7 million tourists, by 2030 attracting 3.5 million visitors, promoting the potential and advantages of tourism to bring more positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
