As of November 23, the organizing committee said that partners from three countries, the US, Russia, and Italy, had registered to display weapons and equipment in the outdoor exhibition area.
The US partner displayed a C130 transport aircraft, two A10 attack aircraft, a Stryker armored vehicle, and an M777 gun on an area of 3,000 square meters. The Russian partner displayed an anti-tank missile system, a BMP 3M infantry fighting vehicle, an RB-504P-E anti-UAV system, etc. on an area of 200 square meters.
Italian partners display training aircraft on an area of 100m2.
The indoor exhibition area has more than 140 corporate contacts from 28 countries responding to participate in the exhibition, an increase of 208 booths compared to 2022, an increase of 183 booths compared to the target of the 2024 exhibition project.
As of November 28, 56 international delegations from 36 countries have registered to attend (including 8 delegations at the Minister of National Defense level, 5 delegations at the Chief of the General Staff/Commander of the Defense Forces level...).

The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 will take place from December 19 to 22 at Gia Lam Airport (Hanoi). The opening time for visitors will start at 1:30 p.m. on December 21.
On the sidelines of the event, there will be bilateral contact activities, cultural and artistic performances according to the program, especially there will be an exchange program of military music of ASEAN countries.
It is expected that within the framework of the exhibition, there will be a seminar program on the topics: " High-tech weapons and equipment; unmanned equipment - Applications in current and future military operations "; Defense industry cooperation, Vietnam and other countries (Vietnam - UK, Vietnam - US, Vietnam - Russia, Vietnam - Japan, Vietnam - Korea, Vietnam - India).
At the workshop on “ High-tech weapons and equipment; unmanned devices - Applications in current and future military operations” , participants will discuss methods of reconnaissance, detection of unmanned aerial vehicles and the development trend of soft-fire weapons to prevent and combat unmanned aerial vehicles; Current and future technology trends of unmanned aerial vehicles. The workshop will include presentations from businesses.
