According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's cashew nut exports in March 2024 reached nearly 60,000 tons, equivalent to 315 million USD, an increase of over 121% in volume and 122% in value compared to February 2024. This is also the strongest growth rate among all export items of Vietnam.
The US remained Vietnam's largest export market in the first three months of 2024, reaching over 39,000 tons, worth more than 208 million USD, up 35% in volume and 23% in value over the same period last year.

Vietnam is firmly holding the world's number 1 position in cashew nut exports, accounting for nearly 80% of the total global output. Experts predict that the cashew industry will have good prospects in 2024, with the global market forecast to grow by an average of 4.6% in the period 2022-2027. The global trend of favoring vegan and plant-based diets has increased the demand for nuts and nut-based foods, including cashews.
