Director Pham Vinh Khuong is a pioneer in producing films and music videos using AI technology.

With the theme song titled “The Declaration”, the lyrics closely follow the story of patriotism and national pride, the MV is not only a tribute to the past but also a message to today's generations.

Completely different from the MV 30/4 of 2024, this year's work marks a breakthrough in technology with the application of digitalization of original documents, recreating historical scenes with hyper-realistic 3D technology. Characters, settings and developments are simulated so vividly that it is difficult to distinguish from real film footage.

In particular, the MV is the result of more than 30 days and nights of continuous work, with director Pham Vinh Khuong alone carrying out the entire project at high intensity, sleeping only 2-3 hours a day. That relentless dedication makes the work even more valuable, especially when he was born with Parkinson's disease.

The work also demonstrates the breakthrough of AI technology in content production. The director not only applies AI to film editing, but also directly trains AI to simulate specific shooting techniques and distinct cinematic editing rhythms. From lighting, camera movements to character expressions – all are “designed” by a personal AI platform that he is developing specifically for the film industry.

The MV “The Declaration” also opens up the future of Vietnamese cinema when AR technology (augmented reality) is integrated, bringing a realistic and emotional visual experience. This is a bold, pioneering step for a film genre that combines technology and cultural history.

When asked about the reason for naming the MV “The Declaration”, the director affirmed that this is not a copy of President Ho Chi Minh ’s “Declaration of Independence”, but an artistic statement, carrying the spirit of today’s generation: inheritance, pride and looking towards the future. It is a declaration of patriotism, solidarity and the will to constantly rise of the Vietnamese people.

The MV is also a tribute to previous generations, arousing the sense of responsibility of the young generation in preserving and promoting historical and cultural values so that Vietnam can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.

The director said that this will be the last MV on the topic of April 30. If there is a new product in the future, he will aim for 3D animation or movies using the most advanced AI and AR applications.
