It has been the second working day after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, but the number of passengers passing through Tan Son Nhat airport has not cooled down. It is expected that today there will be about 145,000 passengers arriving and departing here.
According to information from Tan Son Nhat Airport Operations Center, on February 4 (the 7th day of Tet), the airport will serve 972 flights. Of which, there are 487 departure flights (336 domestic flights, 151 international flights); 485 arrival flights (332 domestic flights, 153 international flights).

The total number of passengers expected to be served is 145,092. Of which, 53,429 are departing passengers (28,626 domestic departing passengers, 24,803 international departing passengers); 91,466 are arriving passengers (64,808 domestic arriving passengers, 26,658 international arriving passengers).
It can be seen that, although it is the second working day after Tet holiday, the number of passengers passing through Tan Son Nhat airport is still very crowded, showing no signs of cooling down.
Previously, on February 3 (the 6th day of Tet), the airport served 968 flights, with 146,470 passengers. Of which, 91,993 were arriving passengers (with 65,986 domestic arrivals and 26,007 international arrivals).
On the 7th day of Tet, the airport welcomed about 145,000 passengers.
This year's Lunar New Year peak period lasts until February 12, 2025 (January 15, At Ty year), the airport is expected to serve more than 26,000 flights, with more than 4 million passengers. On peak days, the airport serves more than 1,000 incoming and outgoing flights.
From January 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport has used shuttle buses to transport passengers from Tan Son Nhat airport to the outside during the peak period of the Lunar New Year 2025. The buses are arranged to pick up passengers at box B6, box B20, lane B of the Domestic Terminal; take passengers from the airport to the outside according to the following route: Departing and picking up passengers at lane B of the International Terminal - picking up passengers at box B6 and box B20, lane B of the Domestic Terminal - parking lot on Bach Dang street - International Terminal.
These buses operate as shuttle buses, are free for passengers to use and are posted with bilingual information in Vietnamese and English with the content: "Free shuttle bus to Hong Ha and Bach Dang streets".
The free transfer period is 10 days, from January 23 to January 27 and from February 1 to February 5. The vehicles operate 24/7, the frequency depends on the requirements of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
