Yesterday afternoon (July 5th), continuing her work in Bac Binh district, Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thuan province - Member of the National Assembly of Binh Thuan province, held a meeting with voters in Hong Phong commune following the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly. During the meeting, voters watched a video summarizing the results of the session and the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. These included the opinion that Vietnam's current general education system lacks long-term stability, with textbooks constantly changing annually, and new textbooks having many shortcomings, leading to significant waste for society. Voters requested that more appropriate and stable educational policies be considered. During the meeting, voters in Hong Phong commune expressed their satisfaction with the progress made in the National Assembly's sessions. In particular, the Binh Thuan Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies made significant efforts, participating fully in discussions, especially regarding the Land Law.

Voters are also pleased that Hong Phong commune has changed significantly and has achieved the new rural development goals. However, for Hong Phong to develop further, the commune is currently facing obstacles related to the titanium reserve area planning. Therefore, investment projects, construction needs, and land-use conversion in the commune cannot be implemented at present.

Voters in Hong Phong also raised concerns about prioritizing benefits for the elderly and increasing health insurance premiums based on the basic salary. Regarding education and healthcare, local voters expressed worry that while their children are learning English and computer skills, the facilities and teaching equipment are outdated, hindering teaching and learning. Therefore, they requested further assistance from higher levels of government to overcome these difficulties, improve infrastructure, and enhance the effectiveness of education.

After listening to the voters' opinions, representatives from the Hong Phong Commune People's Committee and several relevant departments and units provided information and answered the voters' requests within their authority. National Assembly Deputy Bo Thi Xuan Linh thanked and highly appreciated the dedication and responsibility of the voters of Hong Phong commune in following the National Assembly sessions and the activities of the Binh Thuan Provincial National Assembly delegation. She also stated that the voters' opinions, concerns, and aspirations were very legitimate and fully reflected issues from the central to the local level.

Recommendations regarding health insurance, benefits for contracted medical staff, lowering the age for receiving social welfare benefits for the elderly, and issues related to land acquisition for titanium reserve projects… will be recorded, compiled, and submitted to relevant levels by the National Assembly delegation.

National Assembly Deputy Bo Thi Xuan Linh emphasized that Hong Phong is a heroic commune, therefore, policies and benefits to honor those who have contributed to the revolution need to be given more attention. Simultaneously, she suggested that the local authorities organize dialogue sessions with the people to address voters' concerns and grievances. This would create greater consensus and unity within society.
