According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on September 23, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An areas will have moderate to heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 20-50mm, and some places experiencing over 100mm.

From early morning of September 22 to night of September 23, the area from Ha Tinh to Thua Thien-Hue will have moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 30-60mm, locally over 120mm; thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

According to the warning, from September 24, heavy rain will gradually decrease in the Central provinces. The risk of natural disasters due to heavy rain, tornadoes, and lightning is level 1.

Heavy rain and localized heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.

At sea, the Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, the North East Sea area (including the sea area of ​​Hoang Sa) has showers and strong thunderstorms. In Bach Long Vy, there are strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 8; Co To has gusts of level 7-8. Warning, winds at sea are gradually weakening. The risk level of natural disasters due to strong winds at sea is level 2.

From Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; in the North, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms at night. North to Northwest wind level 2-3; in thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius. Provinces and cities from Da Nang to Binh Thuan have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Southwesterly winds at level 2-3; thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 24-27 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 30-33 degrees Celsius.

The Central Highlands has scattered showers and thunderstorms, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. Southwest wind level 2-3; in thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 20-23 degrees Celsius.
