Heavy rain caused flooding at Km6, National Highway 4D, passing through Dong Tuyen Commune, Lao Cai City, causing traffic disruption. To ensure traffic safety, traffic police were present to direct traffic and ensure safety for people and vehicles.
According to the traffic diversion plan, vehicles from Lao Cai city to Sa Pa town and vice versa will follow the route connecting Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway to Sa Pa. Drivers traveling on the route must pay attention to strictly following the instructions of the traffic police force.

According to information just updated by reporters, currently on Provincial Road 152 (from Bao Thang district to Sa Pa town), Provincial Road 157 (section belonging to Phong Hai Farm town, Bao Thang district) there are many landslides causing traffic jams.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting and Lao Cai Hydro-Meteorological Station forecast: From the evening of June 24 to June 27, areas in the province will have moderate to widespread heavy rain, with some places having very heavy rain with common rainfall of 100-150mm/period, some places having rain over 150mm/period. This rain is forecast to last until the end of June 27. Heavy rain will be concentrated in the districts of Muong Khuong, Simacai, Bac Ha, Bao Thang, Van Ban and Sa Pa town.
