Forecasting the weather in Ho Chi Minh City in the last 10 days of May, the Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that the southwest monsoon will form and operate at a weak intensity in the first 3-4 days of the week. From May 24-25 until the weekend, the southwest wind will gradually become stronger and in the last few days of the month, it is likely to operate at a higher level.
From May 21 to 24, Ho Chi Minh City is forecasted to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms. From May 25 to 31, there will be scattered to widespread rain, with some places experiencing moderate to heavy rain. Rain will mainly occur from noon to late afternoon. There will be little rain at night and sunny weather in the morning.
Temperatures continue to decrease, heat waves of 35-36 degrees Celsius still appear in some places in the first half of the week, in the second half of the week, from May 25-26 onwards, there will no longer be heat waves above 35 degrees Celsius in the Ho Chi Minh City area.

The average temperature during this period will be 0.5-1.0 degrees Celsius higher than the average of many years (TBNN) for the same period, at around 28.0-29.0 degrees. The lowest temperature is commonly 25-27 degrees. The highest temperature is commonly 33-36 degrees Celsius. Total weekly rainfall is approximately TBNN, in the area commonly in the range of 80-150mm.
