The rhododendron-viewing path in the Kim Son Bao Thang complex is designed to follow the shape of 12 rhododendron trees. These are the oldest rhododendron trees in the Hoang Lien mountains and forests, hundreds of years old.
Ms. Cam Van Anh - a tourist from Thanh Hoa expressed: "Knowing that there are up to 40 types of rhododendrons, I was really overwhelmed by the scenery here and the two of us took a lot of pictures. I have never seen rhododendrons like this before."
Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tai - a tourist from Hanoi excitedly said: "Going to the top of Fansipan right in the blooming season, I found the scenery very wonderful. Everything blends together to create a very poetic scene. I will come back to learn more about this type of flower".
Hoang Lien forest rhododendrons not only impress visitors with their brilliant colors, but also with their mossy antiquity.
