From 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on April 23, heavy rain, accompanied by hail and tornadoes, occurred in the area of the People's Committee of Phuc Trach Commune, Bo Trach District, blowing off the roofs of 12 houses, destroying 15 hectares of rice and 27 hectares of corn in the growing period, along with some other crops such as acacia and cajuput. Of which, the corn area was destroyed at a rate of nearly 100%.

According to local residents, the rain accompanied by hail occurred and lasted for about 15 minutes. The falling stones had an average size of about 2cm, creating a white sky scene rarely seen in the past 15 years.

Phuc Trach Commune People's Committee has reported to Bo Trach District People's Committee to have a plan to support and guide people to overcome damage caused by natural disasters.
