Mason Mount has decided to leave Chelsea

Mason Mount has decided to leave Chelsea after refusing to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.

And the England midfielder is said to have chosen MU as his next destination. The Telegraph reported that Erik ten Hag's team's ticket to the Champions League had a decisive influence on Mason Mount's choice, so he rejected Liverpool.

The remaining issue of Mason Mount's deal to join the Red Devils is the fee. While Chelsea insists on asking for 80 million Euros, because they want to find a way to keep him, MU only intends to spend no more than 60 million Euros.

However, coach Erik ten Hag called Mason Mount to assure him that MU will try to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. After the first offer of 40 million pounds (47 million Euros) was rejected by The Blues, the Red Devils are preparing to make a second, higher offer.

Standard added that in case MU falters and negotiations fail, Chelsea will accept letting him leave for free next summer.

MU pursues Bundesliga star duo

MU received great support in pursuing Leverkusen duo, Jeremie Frimpong and Moussa Diaby.

In addition to having to bring in a top striker, Erik ten Hag is also said to be looking for a right-back and a winger to supplement the Red Devils' squad in the new season.

Both Frimpong and Diaby are regulars in the Leverkusen first team but their futures are in doubt. And according to the latest report from the Daily Mail, the Bundesliga side are ready to let both leave this summer, with contract extensions ruled out.

Both players themselves also expressed their desire to seek new challenges.

Frimpong is valued at around £34m and Leverkusen would let him go if they received the right fee. Moussa Diaby is valued at £65m.

It is believed that MU will increase their pursuit of Moussa Dibaly if they decide to sell Jadon Sancho, a star who has failed to prove his worth after arriving from Dortmund in the summer of 2021.

Real Madrid prepares money to sign Mbappe

L'Equipe said Real Madrid are willing to spend 200 million Euros to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer, as well as to ensure that the French captain will not go elsewhere if he leaves PSG.

Marca added that although Real Madrid is ready to seize the opportunity to sign Mbappe, they will not make an offer until PSG makes a request for the striker's price.

Mbappe's future has heated up in recent days after he sent a letter to PSG informing them that he would not activate the extension clause until 2025 and would stop at the agreement valid until next summer.

Although the 24-year-old striker announced that he will stay in Paris next season (until the end of his contract), PSG is forced to sell him this summer if they don't want to lose him for free next year.

After failing to come last year, Real Madrid is still Mbappe's preferred choice and it is believed that sooner or later the two sides will have a chance to meet.
