The Inspectorate of the Department of Finance of Da Nang City has just issued an inspection conclusion on the management of budget revenue and expenditure, use of money and state assets, compliance with laws, financial management policies, and accounting regime in 2023 at the People's Committee of Hoa Phuoc commune (Hoa Vang district).
Hoa Phuoc Commune People's Committee was determined to have used illegal invoices to pay money from the budget.
According to the inspection conclusion, in 2023, the People's Committee of Hoa Phuoc commune illegally used invoices to settle payments from the state budget with a total amount of more than 31 million VND.
The Inspector of the Department of Finance of Da Nang City requested the People's Committee of Hoa Phuoc Commune to collect and deposit into the temporary account of the Department of Finance more than 31 million VND due to illegal use of invoices.
At the same time, gain experience in preparing payment documents.
"Self-check invoices on the support software of the General Department of Taxation for the value of use and legality of payment invoices," the conclusion stated.
The Inspectorate of the Department of Finance of Da Nang City also requested the Tax Department of Son Tra - Ngu Hanh Son area, the Tax Department of Cam Le - Hoa Vang area, and the Tax Department of Hai Chau district to clarify responsibilities and strictly handle individuals, business households, and enterprises in the area that provided illegal invoices to the People's Committee of Hoa Phuoc commune.
In addition, the inspection process also discovered that the People's Committee of Hoa Phuoc commune leased public land managed by the commune to a number of households and collected land rental fees totaling more than VND 177 million without auction.
This is determined to not ensure regulations on policies and rental prices...
The People's Committee of Hoa Phuoc commune has not yet publicly disclosed the budget and other financial activities in the commune, and has not yet conducted self-inspection of finance and accounting according to regulations...
The Inspector of the Department of Finance of Da Nang City requested the People's Committee of Hoa Phuoc Commune to rectify, learn from experience and strictly implement the inspection conclusion according to legal regulations.
