Recently, leaker Digital Chat Station revealed some key specifications of the Redmi K80 Pro.
Accordingly, the successor to the Redmi K70 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will feature a 6,000 mAh high-energy-density silicon battery, ensuring a slim design despite the significantly increased battery capacity compared to its predecessor.
According to a previous leak, the Redmi K80 Pro has a flat OLED display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The source also revealed that the K80 Pro will be equipped with a 50MP telephoto camera supporting 3x optical zoom – an upgrade from the 2x zoom of its predecessor – and will support 100W wired and wireless fast charging. The device will also use an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Previously, last year the Redmi K70 Pro was exclusive to the Chinese market. Therefore, the K80 Pro is very likely not to be launched outside of this market either.
The Redmi K80 series is known to include several models such as the Redmi K80e and Redmi K80. Reports also reveal that the K80e is expected to be equipped with the upcoming Dimensity 8400 chip, while the K80 will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
Previous reports indicated that the K80 and K80e might be renamed POCO F7 and F7 Pro in markets outside of China in 2025.
