Recently, Apple officially confirmed the date and time for its upcoming September product launch event, themed "It's Glowtime." The annual iPhone launch event will take place on Monday, September 9th, at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, starting at 10:00 AM local time.
At the event, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch, and AirPods 4. In addition, Apple will also announce the official release dates for iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and other software.

The iPhone 16 will have some notable changes, such as:
- Larger screens: The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are expected to have larger OLED screens, measuring 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively. Additionally, sources indicate that the Pro-series iPhones will have a maximum screen brightness of 1,200 nits during normal use and 1,600 nits for HDR. This would make them the brightest iPhones ever.
- Added buttons, redesigned camera layout: The iPhone 16 series will feature an additional Action button and a new camera shutter button on the right side.
Apple introduced the Action button last year, but it was only available on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. This year, the company will integrate it across all four versions. This button replaces the traditional silent mode switch and can be toggled to perform various functions such as turning on the flashlight, camera, launching pre-assigned shortcuts, and translation mode.
- Adding some new colors: Sonny Dickson, an expert who has provided many accurate images of Apple products, posted photos of four iPhone 16 Pro models in white, black, gray, and copper. The copper version is a special color, replacing the titanium blue on the iPhone 15 Pro.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus come in five colors: white, black, blue, green, and pink, with richer shades than their predecessors.
- New camera technology: Apple is expected to upgrade the 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the iPhone 16 Pro for better image quality, especially in low-light conditions. The main sensor on the 16 Pro Max is 12% larger than the previous generation. Both high-end versions will have a 5x telephoto lens instead of being limited to the Pro Max version like last year.
- Stackable batteries: Apple uses batteries with a completely new design and materials, featuring a stainless steel casing instead of aluminum.
Apple also upgraded the 5G modem on the two higher-end models to the Snapdragon X75, resulting in faster connectivity and better battery life.
- Improved Apple Intelligence and Siri: All iPhone 16 models will feature Apple Intelligence, an AI toolkit supported by large language models. However, users will have to wait until October to experience this feature.
Apple also upgraded the microphone to improve Siri, integrating AI for more natural communication and the ability to interact with third-party apps.
Users in Vietnam can follow the event at 0:00 on September 10th via live stream on Apple's website; the TV app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple's official YouTube channel.
