On January 9, information from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Thanh Hoa province said that in order to serve the work of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, 27 civil servants, public employees and workers (6 civil servants, 17 public employees and 4 labor contracts) under the Department voluntarily wrote applications for early retirement.

Among the 27 officials who applied for early retirement, there was 1 deputy head of a professional department; 5 were deputy directors of units under the department; 4 held the positions of head or deputy head of departments or faculties under the unit; 13 were civil servants and public employees who did not hold leadership or management positions, and 4 had labor contracts.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Thanh Hoa province said that the officials decided to retire early to create conditions for the younger generation to continue developing.
According to statistics, this Department currently has 9 specialized and professional departments and 12 affiliated public service units, with a total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of 707 people (including: 72 civil servants, 386 public employees and 249 labor contracts; of which: 23 labor contracts according to the Decree).
It is known that in the near future, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs will be merged with the Department of Home Affairs to form the Department of Home Affairs and Labor.
