Fisherman Tran Vinh injured his leg while fishing at sea.

At 7:00 a.m. on April 14, fishing boat QNg 92604 TS was operating about 50 nautical miles from Truong Sa island when it encountered a storm that caused fisherman Tran Vinh (30 years old, in Nghia An commune, Quang Ngai city) to fall into the ship's hold, resulting in a broken and displaced left leg.

The fishermen on board provided first aid and took Vinh to DK 1/9 rig for medical assistance. The medical team at DK 1/9 promptly bandaged and provided medicine to Vinh and asked the captain to take him back to the mainland.
