Stemming from his passion, over the past 10 years, Mr. LamJiang (living in Bien Hoa city) and his group of friends have spent a lot of time in the forest of Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve (Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province) to "hunt" for photos of wild birds.
1. The forest in Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve is over 100,000 hectares wide, home to many beautiful and rare bird species that LamJiang's group has been photographing for many years.
The game is also very elaborate because wild bird photography is a very difficult genre.
In addition to passion, this hobby requires photographers to ensure issues of: finance, health, time and especially perseverance.
There are rare bird species that LamJiang's group spent a lot of effort tracking and following for many days, months, even years before taking a satisfactory photo.
2. In early 2024, LamJiang's group went hunting for woodpecker photos in the forest of the Southern Central Bureau.
To date, LamJiang's team has taken tens of thousands of photos of more than 300 bird species in the forest area of Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, including many rare bird species appearing for the first time in Dong Nai.
3. Mr. LamJiang is adjusting the equipment to ensure safety before taking photos.
According to Mr. LamJiang, his group takes photos not only to satisfy their passion but also to share the images on social networks to let the community know that Vietnam's nature in general and the forests in Dong Nai in particular have many beautiful and rare bird species.
Their wish is for the community to love birds and together preserve and conserve wildlife.
4. Each bird photography set costs about 500-600 million VND.
