Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry enrolls students in 5 ways. Method 1 is direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2 is admission based on the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University (not applicable to preschool education).

Method 3 is to consider admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam. For preschool education, it is based on the results of the graduation exam in 2 subjects: literature, math and the aptitude test score.

Method 4 is admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam, adding or replacing a subject in the admission combination with a transcript (not applicable to preschool education).

Method 5: Admission based on academic records.

For methods 3 and 5, candidates can use IELTS or TOEFL ITP certificate scores for conversion.
