According to investigation documents, in early March 2023, Truong Van Dat received 186.2 million VND from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Thanh Mien District for the 2023 martyr worship allowance. This amount was to pay for 128 people to worship 133 martyrs in Lam Son commune.

Immediately after receiving information about the case of appropriation of martyr worship allowance money occurring in Lam Son commune, the leaders of Thanh Mien District Police directed the Criminal - Economic - Drug Investigation Police Team to investigate and clarify the related behavior of Truong Van Dat for strict handling according to the provisions of law.

Thanh Mien District Police Department is continuing to expand the investigation, clarify and handle Truong Van Dat according to the law.
