K-ICM's arrangement for Neko Le's part was very heavy on bass and drums, almost omitting the mid and high ranges. With a fast tempo, Neko Le had to follow the beat with a fast flow. To balance this beat, Neko Le's flow and delivery also needed to be very good.

Unfortunately, Neko Le has ideas but the genre is too much. The male rapper's biggest problem is that his rap is unclear, even swallowing words in many places. Neko Le's delivery is not smooth enough to convey emotions and intentions really well in the transitions. Next, the problem lies in the uneven melody, although Neko Le intends to change the tempo of the flow continuously, it still lacks the element of attracting listeners.

With the overall product revolving around House music, it is likely that Neko Le and his team's intention was to create a song to perform, targeting the bar, club, and underground segments. And when placing Medicine for us on the music market scale, in terms of color and quality, it is very difficult to suit the audience's taste. In fact, the number of views for the MV after the first days is not very impressive.

K-ICM returns with a new stage name and a different career direction.

K-ICM's return cannot save Neko Le

After more than 3 years of hiding, K-ICM has reappeared with an active frequency. Before that, the male producer encountered an incident and left his old company empty-handed. Even his stage name K-ICM had to be changed to Khanh. Next, Khanh has a new team, recently suddenly attracting attention on social networks with livestream sessions, some nights attracting more than 200,000 simultaneous views.

With his latest product, Khanh has broken free from his ego. No longer are the mixes following the pentatonic scale, contemporary folk music and using traditional instruments, Khanh chooses the type of beat that suits the current trend. With House, the boundary between a "quick" song for TikTok and a trendy product is very fragile. With the rap verse and hook structure, the problem for Khanh is even more difficult.

With Tang Phuc's vocals and Neko Le's rap verses, Khanh handled the arrangement well in terms of structure. Specifically, the arrangement serves as a background for the singer and rapper. At the end of the song, Khanh's mark is shown in the drop. The male producer mixed a series of materials for the drop, but unfortunately, this part is still "even" in terms of melody, unable to save the whole song.

The biggest highlight of the overall product is probably Tang Phuc. On the background of House music, Retro sound with synth sound, Tang Phuc's voice is placed in the ideal tone and melody for the male singer. Tang Phuc shows that he is suitable to sing this music color.

The collaboration with Khanh and Tang Phuc helped Neko Le somewhat balance the quality of the product. At least, Medicine for us gave much better results than Just leave it to me has received mixed reviews. However, Neko Le still has a lot of work to do on his journey to find recognition as a rapper/singer who is competitive enough in the current Vietnamese music market.
