After 30 years of development, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association has become a bridge connecting thousands of young businesses, making an important contribution to the prosperity of the business community and Ho Chi Minh City.
On August 24, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association celebrated its 30th anniversary (1994-2024).
Attending the program were comrades: Phan Van Mai, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; Le Quoc Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Hieu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee; Nguyen Hoang Long, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade; Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.
Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Manh Cuong, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee; Lam Dinh Thang, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai congratulated and thanked the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association for its great contributions to the city's socio-economic development.
According to him, over the past 30 years, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association has created great value. He believes that with the qualities of the city's young entrepreneurs, they will be even more pioneering, innovative, and creative in the future.
The story of innovation must continue to be promoted on the foundation and good qualities of young entrepreneurs over the past 30 years.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also shared that the current problem that all sectors and fields are facing is technology. For businesses, technology will impact business, the way of connecting to production and business activities. Therefore, he hopes that businesses will soon approach, use and master technology in production and business.
For more information, comrade Phan Van Mai shared that Ho Chi Minh City is always required to be a large center, a growth pole of the whole country and a representative of international integration and competition. Therefore, the city is re-evaluating its development orientation. He hopes that the Ho Chi Minh City Entrepreneurs Association will be an important component in the city's entity and grow with the city's development.
Previously, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association Le Tri Thong said that over the past 30 years, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association has attracted more than 4,000 members and built an ecosystem of more than 15,000 members, becoming an important bridge in the business community. With more than 2,500 domestic and foreign trade connection programs, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association has contributed significantly to market expansion and international cooperation.
In particular, the capitalization of member enterprises has exceeded the 40 billion USD mark. Many enterprises are continuously in the list of top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam.
The contributions of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association ecosystem do not stop at business, but also bring tens of thousands of billions of VND to the state budget and more than 500 billion VND to participate in social security activities, along with thousands of billions of VND from member businesses.
The Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association also contributes greatly to creating millions of jobs in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development.
"These figures are clear evidence of the strong rise and commitment to contribute to the prosperity of the city and the country from the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association," said Mr. Le Tri Thong.
The series of programs celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association took place from August 10, with many exciting and meaningful activities, such as: VietNam CEO Forum 2024; Tennis Tournament and trade promotion program celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association.
In addition, there are also activities: InnoEx 2024 - Innovation Forum and Exhibition; exchange program - connecting young entrepreneurs from provinces and cities...
From now until the end of the year, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association continues to organize activities: YBA Family Connect - Family Connection Day; the program Connecting three regions - Aspiration to reach far; Award Ceremony of the 12th Ho Chi Minh City Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs Award - 2024.
