Invitation to join the Rice Trade Promotion Delegation in the Chinese market

1. Objective:

- Directly introduce Vietnam's rice export brands and products to importers and consumers in the Chinese market; create opportunities for businesses of both sides to directly contact each other to sign business cooperation agreements through the following activities:

+ Organize B2B seminars on rice trade between Vietnamese exporting enterprises and importing enterprises in China;

+ Working in some factory, warehouse, transportation systems and some large rice importing enterprises in China;

+ Study the system and methods of distribution, retail and consumption of Chinese consumers, thereby building a direct penetration method and increasing market share in the above market.

- Work with your management agencies and relevant business associations to learn about policy orientation, needs, consumer tastes, and regulations on rice import and export, thereby supporting Vietnamese businesses to grasp information, proactively plan their work, and meet market requirements.

2. Scale: 10 - 18 businesses

3. Time: from December 2 to December 6, 2024

4. Location: Guangdong Province and Hunan Province, China

5. Industry: Rice products

7. Criteria for selecting participating units: Enterprises operating in the fields of trading, production, and rice export, with potential and reputation;

8. Cost:

- State support for enterprises participating in the program: enterprises selected to participate in the program will be supported by the State with a portion of the airfare for 01 person/unit participating and the entire cost of organizing trade activities in China.

- Expenses that businesses pay themselves when participating in the Program: other airfare costs; visa fees, accommodation, meals, transportation abroad and other related costs (if any).

9. Obligations when participating in the Program:

- Business representatives are obliged to fully participate in all activities of the Program (not returning home before the scheduled time, not staying abroad beyond the Program's duration), strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnamese Business Delegation, and the laws of Vietnam and the host country.

- Responsible for preparing Vietnamese rice brand products for introduction, promotion and trade; documents, publications, video clips and products needed in trade promotion activities.

- After the end of the Program, within 15 days, participating enterprises must send a report of results to the Trade Promotion Agency and the Import-Export Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade (according to the form in Appendix III attached).

10. Requirements for Program Registration Documents:

- Business registration certificate (certified copy, stamped by the unit);

- Application form for business participation in the Delegation (according to the form in Appendix I attached);

- Register the list of personnel participating in the Delegation (according to the form in Appendix II attached);

- Decision to send personnel to join the Enterprise's Delegation;

- Photocopy of passport page with photo and passport information of the Delegation participant (passport must be valid for at least 06 months);

- 02 4x6 white background photos (for each member of the Delegation);

Note: The Program's support subjects are enterprises of all economic sectors, cooperatives, and Vietnamese trade promotion organizations established in accordance with current laws. Organizations not belonging to the above subjects will not receive support.
