DNVN - FPT Digital in collaboration with Techcombank andSHB organized the event "DxHub™ - AI application trends and implementation practices in the banking industry" on August 7 to share AI application trends in the banking industry globally from the perspective of technology experts, introducing new technologies and suitable AI implementation practices in Vietnam.
In recent years, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) has become a prominent trend for businesses globally in general and the banking industry in particular. The banking industry is witnessing a strong transformation thanks to advanced technologies, with AI at the center of the change.
As part of the transformation trend, banks around the world are investing heavily in AI to improve customer experience, optimize operational processes and enhance competitiveness with the shift from traditional retail banking, Digital banking to AI banking.
The banking industry is also one of the most mature in AI, with 85% of banks having established an AI application strategy in building new products and services and more than 59% of employees using AI in their daily operations. Banks' spending on GenAI is expected to increase to $85 billion by 2030, up from $6 billion in 2024, marking an increase of more than 1,400%.
FPT Digital cooperated with Techcombank and SHB to organize the event "DxHub™ - AI application trends and implementation practices in the banking industry" with the desire to share AI application trends in the banking industry globally from the perspective of technology experts, and at the same time introduce new technologies and AI implementation practices suitable for the context of the Vietnamese banking industry.
The event will connect businesses and organizations interested in AI application issues in the banking industry with technology experts and representatives of leading banks in AI application in Vietnam.
