Thanh Hoa Association in Hanoi is a voluntary social organization, a place to gather, unite and bond people far from home, to encourage and help each other to fulfill their tasks at work, at their place of residence and always turn towards their homeland. After nearly 40 years of operation, up to now, Thanh Hoa Association in Hanoi has 19 district-level Associations, 5 member associations and 300 commune-level associations.

Over the past year, the Association of Fellow Countrymen from the provincial to the communal levels have developed appropriate action plans to strengthen the gathering and connection of people from the homeland, build a spirit of solidarity, attachment, and mutual assistance in life, while strengthening the close relationship with the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and people in the homeland, carrying out many humanitarian and charitable activities, encouraging learning, encouraging talents, investing in building infrastructure, contributing to the construction of the homeland, especially participating in the movement to build new rural areas.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: As a province with a large land area and a large population, it plays a particularly important role in the process of building and defending the country as well as in the process of building and defending the Fatherland. Many Thanh Hoa natives have temporarily left their homeland to study, work, fight and work. And in that journey, many people have established themselves and made a living in a new land, a new homeland. He said that the establishment of the Association of Fellow Countrymen is extremely necessary and meaningful because practice has proven that over the past 40 years, the activities of the Thanh Hoa Fellow Countrymen Association in the capital Hanoi with its motto and purpose have become a common home to gather and unite Thanh Hoa natives far from home. This is also a bridge between the children far from home and the local Party Committee and government. Therefore, the provincial leaders over the years have always respected, supported and hoped that the Association of Fellow Countrymen would continue to develop.

In addition to the activities of exchanging experiences, visiting, encouraging, and sharing promptly with member families in difficult circumstances, the Association has made many innovations in its activities; organized many rich, practical, meaningful activities, with the ability to spread, creating solidarity, unity, and affection in the community. The Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Association in Hanoi and Thanh Hoa children working in Hanoi all expressed their joy to meet directly with the provincial leaders and said: The meeting showed the special attention of the provincial leaders to the children far from home, thereby creating an increasingly closer connection between Thanh Hoa children living, working and studying in the capital with each other and with their homeland. The opinions were also impressed with the results and achievements that Thanh Hoa province has achieved in the past time, especially in implementing Resolution No. 58 of the Politburo on building and developing Thanh Hoa province until 2030, with a vision to 2045, and at the same time expressed their confidence and expectation that Thanh Hoa province will continue to rise strongly to stand shoulder to shoulder with the major provinces and cities in the country.
Appreciating the affection and encouragement of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Association in Hanoi for the provincial leaders in particular, for the Party Committee, government, people and armed forces of Thanh Hoa province in general, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Trong Hung affirmed: For Thanh Hoa province to have the development it has today, besides the efforts of the province, the attention of the Central Government and other provinces and cities, there is also the attention, support and encouragement of Thanh Hoa people far from their homeland, especially the Thanh Hoa Association in Hanoi.
This intimate meeting was an initiative of the Association, and through this, the leaders of Thanh Hoa province also heard the hearts of the comrades in the Association's Standing Committee, the Association's concerns for the development of the homeland, for the fact that there are still 8 districts, towns and more than 300 communes that do not have a Compatriots Association in Hanoi. In the future, Thanh Hoa province will cooperate with the Thanh Hoa Compatriots Association in Hanoi to develop the Association to cover all districts and communes, creating comprehensive connections in all regions and areas of social life.
