Experience the "summer emotions"

Summer is approaching and this is also the time when Quang Nam officially launches a tourism stimulus package with the theme "summer emotions", starting from May to August.

Finding unique experiences to “cool off” during the hot season is the top priority of tourists. Understanding this, the “summer emotions” program will lead tourists to immerse themselves in the beautiful nature of Quang Nam with all kinds of activities from the mountains to the sea.

On April 16, the Provincial People's Committee announced the tourism stimulus program "Quang Nam - Green Heritage". The program lasts from May to November 2024 with a total incentive value of about 9.5 billion VND.

Many new destinations in the types of sea - island, lake - river, mountain - forest - garden tourism such as Cua Khe beach, O O waterfall, Tra Doa... will be added to the journey to explore Quang Nam. In addition, camping tourism associated with the sea, Bo Bo pine forest... also promises to be a new experience for tourists.

Mr. Tran Nhat Son - representative of Hoi An Express Service and Tourism Company Limited informed that the preferential packages for independent travel will have flexible departure dates with prices starting from only 1,270,000 VND/person for 3 days with airport pick-up; the resort and golf package for 3-4 days is discounted from only 4,250,000 VND/person... Tourists experiencing these packages under the Quang Nam tourism stimulus program will all stay at 4-5 star hotels.

“For the 1-day summer camp program, the price will be from 900,000 VND/person and depart every Friday in June and July. For the 3-7 day summer camp, the departure date will be flexible with a price of nearly 3 million VND/person,” said Mr. Son.

Mr. Tran Quy Tan - Head of Tourism Management Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that there are 43 businesses participating in the deep stimulus program (reduction from 30% or more) and more than 50 units participating in the general program spread across all types, so tourists will have many opportunities to experience Quang Nam at preferential prices this year.

Waiting for the "golden season of Quang Nam"

The period from September to November is the low tourist season of Quang Nam. Therefore, at the end of this year, Quang Nam will launch the stimulus program "Quang Nam Golden Season" - promising to bring many impressive experiences. If the program "Summer Emotions" focuses on exploring nature, "Quang Nam Golden Season" is expected to position more cultural tourism sands associated with the life of Quang Nam during the rainy season.

The “party” of the “golden season of Quang Nam” has been outlined with the products: “Moss-covered ancient town”, “Hoi An in the flood season”, “New rice festival”, “countryside flavor”, “golden season covering green”…

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ha - Deputy Head of Quang Nam Destination Club to Preserve Indigenous Values (Quang Nam Tourism Association) said: "The Club will build a connecting space platform so that tourists can create their own tour route. When tourists make a request, the platform will suggest tours for them, and each destination on the journey will be provided with full information for tourists."
According to him, the platform will also prioritize displaying suppliers with good stimulus policies. From there, tourists will decide for themselves the appropriate tour package from the suppliers. In some cases of force majeure, especially weather, suppliers commit to refunding, canceling or flexibly changing tickets and services for tourists.

Quang Nam Destination Club preserving local values will also organize an online photo contest in the program “Quang golden season”. The contest aims to promote the spread of beautiful images of Quang Nam through the real experiences of tourists on the journey.

This plan is the first step in concretizing the expectations of tourists to experience Quang Nam tourism during the rainy season. At the same time, this will increase the number of visitors to Quang Nam during the low tourist season according to local expectations.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said: "The stimulus program has conveyed a very attractive image of Quang Nam from a tourism perspective. The first thing in stimulating demand is to consider the tourist experience as the center, find ways to increase the value of product packages rather than just focusing on reducing prices to both increase the number of visitors to Quang Nam and at the same time satisfy tourists when they come here to experience."
