During the historic April days, Binh Thuan province has been organizing a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan province. In particular, the rally will take place on the evening of April 19, 2025, in the center of Phan Thiet city, with the participation of about 3,000 delegates, including representatives of the Party, State, ministries, central branches, neighboring provinces, historical witnesses and a large number of people. This is also an opportunity for the people of Binh Thuan province to review the history after 51 days and nights of attack and uprising, the army and people of Binh Thuan completely liberated their homeland, contributing with the army and people of the whole country to create the great Spring victory and the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign. During that heroic and arduous resistance war, the land and people of Binh Thuan made great contributions to the cause of national liberation. Khu Le Bat Duc, Tam Giac Ky Cuong, Nam Son Trung Dung were soaked in the blood of many generations of cadres and soldiers of the Binh Thuan armed forces. The feats of the martyrs will forever be recorded in history, forever the pride of generations of Binh Thuan people. After the liberation day, the Party Committee, army and people of Binh Thuan province focused on overcoming the consequences of war, gradually restoring and developing the economy. After 50 years of liberation, especially after 30 years of re-establishment of the province (April 1992 - April 2022), the Party Committee, government, army and people of Binh Thuan have promoted the heroic spirit of the land and people of Binh Thuan, achieving important achievements in all fields. Despite many difficulties, the Party Committee, army and people of Binh Thuan province have strived to achieve many positive results in all aspects. The economy has developed quite rapidly, economic growth is always higher than the national average, creating a clear change in the innovation of the growth model, improving production capacity and economic scale. Especially in recent years, the appearance of urban and rural areas, ethnic minority areas has improved a lot, many modern and spacious residential areas have opened up in both urban and rural areas. Tourist areas, infrastructure systems serving the health, education, culture, sports, entertainment, production and business facilities of economic sectors, infrastructure systems are increasingly invested and modernized. The regions in the province are increasingly adding new nuances and all have contributed to making the appearance of the province more and more spacious. Irrigation works bring high efficiency... In addition, the New Rural Development Program has been actively implemented and achieved results. Ethnic minority areas in the province have clear changes in all fields. The Party building work has achieved quite comprehensive and in-depth results, the political system has increasingly improved its effectiveness and efficiency, the people's trust in the Party and the State has been increasingly consolidated, the national solidarity bloc has been strengthened, democracy and discipline have been better promoted, patriotic emulation movements have been maintained regularly, many dynamic and creative typical examples and models have appeared... contributing to creating an important premise to promote the province's situation in all aspects to develop faster in the coming time. Especially in recent years, the infrastructure in the province has been gradually improved, in which the North-South expressway, the East, Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet, Phan Thiet - Dau Giay sections, and connecting traffic routes have been put into use, creating a positive effect, contributing to attracting domestic and foreign investors and tourists to Binh Thuan, creating a driving force for socio-economic development for the province.

In the current period, the Party Committee, Government and people of Binh Thuan province continue to promote revolutionary heroism, solidarity, unanimity, joint efforts and hearts, both striving to heal the wounds of war and overcoming difficulties, striving to move forward. From there, we will have a deeper understanding of the values ​​and lessons learned from the practical struggles of the nation to add strength, will and determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 14th Binh Thuan Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, contributing to the cause of building and firmly defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
