Accordingly, MobiFone users with a 4G SIM and a 5G phone can immediately use the service within the 5G coverage area without changing their SIM. The lowest price users have to pay is 80,000 VND/month for 1GB/day of data, with free YouTube access. In addition, customers can experience 30GB/15 days of free data when registering via SMS using a 5G phone.
Reportedly, MobiFone is deploying its 5G network on the 3,800-3,900 MHz frequency band, supporting many high-tech services, especially applications requiring low latency and stable connections. In the near future, the network operator will continue to expand its coverage nationwide.
MobiFone stated that 5G network speeds can reach 1.5 Gbps, 10-15 times faster than 4G. According to measurements from the i-Speed tool, download speeds on MobiFone's 5G network reached 284.89 Mbps and upload speeds reached 53.37 Mbps, higher than the average in Vietnam.

Currently, all three major mobile network operators in Vietnam are offering commercial 5G services, with Viettel starting in October 2024, VNPT in December 2024, and most recently MobiFone starting on March 26th.
