The organizing committee of the Miss World Business Vietnam contest announced the 2024 season to celebrate its 10th anniversary with many new features on the evening of March 27 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Candidates up to 60 years old, 1.5m tall
This contest attracts attention with its criteria for contestants. The age range of contestants is quite wide, recruiting from 20 to 60 years old. Height from 1.5m.
This makes many viewers think that with the current wave of too many beauty contests, expanding the age range is the only way to ensure the number of contestants participating.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Manh - head of the organizing committee of the Miss World Business Vietnam 2024 contest - explained that the contestants are recruited up to 60 years old because the organizing committee wants to create opportunities for many people to change themselves when participating in the contest.
Regarding height, he said it is not important, what is important is that the participant has a compassionate heart towards the community, sharing love with those in difficult circumstances.
"The crowned contestant is not the most beautiful girl, but must meet the five criteria of the contest: Heart, vision, talent, beauty and connection.
In which, connection is the most important factor. Connection helps entrepreneurs do business better, contribute to the community, and spread more widely" - Mr. Nguyen Duy Manh said.

The semi-final round is scheduled to take place on May 19. On this occasion, about 150 female entrepreneurs who have participated in the competition over the past 10 years will gather, meet, connect, and contribute to community projects.
The organizers will select the top 40 for the final round of Miss World Business Vietnam 2024 , scheduled to take place in June 2024, in Dong Nai.
In particular, the top 15 finalists will have their MVs made by the organizers to promote tourism for each contestant.
The organizers also made a journey to find ambassadors in 63 provinces and cities to spread the beautiful image of the contest and inspire the contestants.

Miss World Business Vietnam 2024 contest is approved to be organized by Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The judges of this year's competition are artists who have been with the competition for many years, such as: singer Nguyen Vu (head judge), artist Trinh Kim Chi, actress Hien Mai, runner-up Bang Chau, designer Quynh Paris...

Singer Nguyen Vu said he set the criteria to find candidates with heart, vision, the ability to behave and communicate skillfully and confidently.
The reason why runner-up Bang Chau has been a judge for many years is because the contest's meaning is linked to the community, helping many people in difficult circumstances through charity and charitable activities.
Designer Quynh Paris believes that everyone has their own beauty, the contest helps women open up, be more confident, and especially show kindness.
Actress Hien Mai supports charity activities on the sidelines of the contest, creating more conditions for businessmen to demonstrate their community responsibility.
Artist Trinh Kim Chi highly appreciated the contestants of the past seasons. She suggested organizing a journey to find ambassadors early, to spread the contest more widely.
