Attending the meeting and exchange with Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, representatives of the organizing committee and 4 runners-up from Bolivia (1st runner-up), Spain (2nd runner-up), Venezuela (3rd runner-up) and Indonesia (4th runner-up), were Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu and his wife, Consul Nguyen Duc Minh, officials and families working at the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan.

Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu expressed his pride and congratulated Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy on her excellent victory in the Miss International pageant, becoming the first Vietnamese beauty to win the Miss International pageant, and congratulated the four runners-up for bringing glory to their country.

Thanh Thuy expressed her happiness when she was crowned the highest position in the Miss International contest.

She expressed her joy and gratitude to the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan for organizing the meeting and exchange program; and at the same time, she thanked her family, relatives, friends and everyone in Vietnam who have always supported, stood by and encouraged her throughout the journey.

Thanh Thuy also affirmed that as Miss International 2024, she will continue to strive and contribute, worthy of the trust and love of all the public in the country, as well as respond to the support and affection of Vietnamese fans.

Responding to questions about her journey to winning the crown, Miss Thanh Thuy said the most important factor to her success was discipline.

Because in the competition, the judges will observe the contestants in every smallest detail, such as being punctual, having a neat and quick demeanor, and not affecting the group.

Besides, candidates also need to know how to communicate, learn and connect well with other candidates.

Thanh Thuy will continue to stay in Japan and participate in the activities of the Miss International pageant organizing committee, and is expected to return to Vietnam on November 18.

Regarding future plans, Thanh Thuy said that after returning home, she will visit all regions of the country to share joy with everyone, then plan to participate in many meaningful activities in the community.

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy – born in 2002, 1.76m tall, born and raised in Da Nang. She is currently studying at two schools: University of Foreign Languages ​​(Da Nang University) and Greenwich University Vietnam. She has basic communication skills in English and Korean.

The Miss International pageant is one of the major beauty pageants in the world, alongside the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants. This beauty pageant was first held in 1960 and takes place annually in Japan.
