On the evening of July 30, the National Costume competition within the framework of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contest officially took place in Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan). In particular, the image of the "Trung Vuong" costume performance suddenly attracted the attention of the beauty-loving community.

In addition to the comments praising the elaborate and magnificent staging of the National Costume competition night and the captivating performances of the contestants, there were many conflicting opinions surrounding the information about the "Trung Vuong" costume performance. Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 mistakenly announced the information about the "Trung Vuong" costume performance, the Organizing Committee apologized.

Speaking with Dan Viet reporter, the representative of Miss Grand Vietnam's Organizing Committee apologized for the information error in the "Trung Vuong" costume performance by designer Nguyen Huy Hoang - Contestant in the National Costume competition.

"Right during the contestant's performance, the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee immediately noticed the mistake in historical details. However, because the program was on air, we could not handle it immediately. Right after the performance, we stopped the broadcast and cut out the performance with this mistake," the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee shared.

A representative of the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee said that during the rehearsal night on the evening of July 29, Ba Trieu's quote was not used in the performance. "The Organizing Committee did not approve the additional background music with Ba Trieu's quote that the designer intended to include for the competition night on the evening of July 30. However, the technical staff mistakenly used the audio file that the Organizing Committee had not approved.

More than anyone else, the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee would like to take responsibility for our mistakes and sincerely apologize to the audience. We hope that the audience will forgive the unfortunate mistakes and continue to enjoy the National Costume competition night, the efforts of young designers, and their efforts to convey the traditional culture of Vietnam. The new Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 will become Vietnam's representative to participate in the Miss Grand International 2024 contest taking place in Vietnam in October this year.
