According to the Miss Earth Vietnam Organizing Committee, runner-up Thach Thu Thao is the ambassador of this year's contest. In this role, she accompanies the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contestants on their journey to conquer the prestigious crown. Notably, during the day working directly with the contestants, the 2001 beauty enthusiastically guided her juniors on the catwalk steps as well as shared her experiences.

Talking about the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contestants, runner-up Thach Thu Thao commented: "I see that the contestants are quite even in appearance, not to mention the way they talk about the environment shows that the contestants have learned a lot and have very profound experiences. I am also nervous not knowing who will be crowned Miss Earth Vietnam 2023. But whoever it is, I believe that she is a girl with beauty, intelligence, courage and a strong love for nature and the environment."

Runner-up Thach Thu Thao also admitted that this was her first experience as a catwalk instructor and trainer for Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contestants, so she felt excited and a bit pressured. "I feel very happy because I can share some of my experience to help Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contestants become more confident and well-groomed. From the perspective of a senior, I cannot guarantee that my catwalk skills are the best, I can only stop at sharing with my peers about the experiences that I have gained in my journeys.

I also hope to help "fuel" the contestants in their journey to reach the crown of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023.

Most recently, the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 Organizing Committee officially announced the Top 36 contestants competing to conquer the highest position of this year's contest. Accordingly, these 36 contestants will be divided into 3 teams, participating in 8 reality TV episodes under the guidance of 3 coaches, including Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 Nguyen Tran Khanh Van, Miss Earth Vietnam 2017 Ha Thu and International Supermodel 2022 Bui Quynh Hoa.

The reality TV episodes of the semi-finals of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 are scheduled to air from September 6 to October 8 on TV channels and social media platforms.

Runner-up Thach Thu Thao: "I will follow the path of a professional model"

Runner-up Thach Thu Thao (born in 2001) is 1.77m tall with sexy measurements of 74-61-88 cm. It is known that she is the youngest child in a Khmer family in Tra Vinh. Sharing with Dan Viet , Thach Thu Thao said that she always feels proud to be Khmer because that has created an interesting recognition in the eyes of the beauty-loving community when she appears in showbiz activities.

Currently, runner-up Thach Thu Thao is a final year student majoring in English at Nam Can Tho University. Therefore, the beauty born in 2001 is currently "sprinting" to study to graduate in the summer of 2024.

"Previously, I studied English because I wanted to become a tour guide. Since I was a child, I had a dream of traveling around to explore the world. But since I won the Miss Student Award at Nam Can Tho University when I was a second-year student, I think I changed my mind and decided to enter showbiz.

And being able to represent Vietnam to participate in the Miss Earth 2022 contest in the Philippines is also an initial achievement that I have achieved thanks to my own efforts, plus the luck of receiving support from my close friends and partners...", Runner-up Thach Thu Thao shared.

According to the beauty born in 2001, on average every week she has to travel from Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh City to attend events and other activities. Runner-up Thach Thu Thao also has her own way to ensure both studying at school and doing her job well.

"Usually I travel by bus, going back and forth during the day. At first it was quite tiring and stressful, but after a while I feel normal. I always try to choose to go to events on days when I don't have classes scheduled or ask my teachers to let me study subjects in advance with other classes (or study later with later classes), to avoid missing any classes due to the nature of my work," said the beauty from Tra Vinh.

It is known that runner-up Thach Thu Thao usually spends most of her time studying in the morning and evening. In the afternoon, the beauty born in 2001 will go to the gym or hang out with a few close friends. Thach Thu Thao shared that she is not good at cooking so she mostly eats out.

Talking about the "secret" to maintaining her figure, Top 20 Miss Earth 2022 said: "I like to eat broken rice with pork chops, noodles and vegetarian food... Because I have a skinny body, I can eat most of the dishes I like without having to abstain."

"Never rest on your laurels" is the motto of runner-up Thach Thu Thao. She wants to be a better version of herself every day she wakes up. "After graduating from university, I plan to pursue a career as a professional model domestically and internationally," the beauty said.
