South and Central regions increased sharply

Pig prices today, February 15, 2025, witnessed a sharp increase in the Southern and Central Highlands regions. In which, many localities reached 73,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

Pig prices today (February 15, 2025) in the Northern region continue to maintain stability in provinces and cities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is maintained at around 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Of which, Phu Tho and Bac Giang are the 2 localities with the highest price of live pigs in the region at 72,000 VND/kg. In contrast, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh are all trading at 70,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.

Central Highlands region

The price of live pigs today (February 15, 2025) in the Central Highlands region recorded a sharp increase again in localities such as Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg. Dak Lak alone increased by 2,000 VND/kg and reached 70,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region fluctuates between 69,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Of which, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong have the highest price of live pigs in the region at 72,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh sell the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 15, 2025) recorded an increase of 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities such as Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang and Vinh Long.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 70,000 - 73,000 VND/kg. In particular, along with Dong Nai, the provinces of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho and Ca Mau set a new price list with 73,000 VND/kg, this is the highest price of live pigs. The remaining provinces in the area fluctuate between 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 15, 2025) recorded an increase again in the Southern and Central Highlands regions, while the North maintained stability. Currently, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 69,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
