Northern region has thunderstorms and temperature drops

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of cold air , from last night to this morning (October 7), in the Northern region there will be showers and thunderstorms, especially in the mountainous and midland areas there will be moderate rain, some places will have heavy rain to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20-50mm, some places over 100mm.

From this afternoon and tonight, rain will spread to the area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh with the above rainfall.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flooding in low-lying areas and the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.

Also today, scattered rain will continue to appear in the area from the Central Central region to the South in the evening, the day will remain sunny with the highest temperature of 34 degrees. The Central Highlands will be cooler, not exceeding 32 degrees.

In the North, it is cloudy with moderate to heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms; in the South, it is cloudy with sunny days and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Light wind. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan
