Specifically, in the Northern region, from January 18-20, there will be no rain at night, some places will have fog in the early morning, and it will be sunny during the day. It will be cold. From January 21-24, there will be rain in some places, some places will have fog and light fog in the early morning, and it will be sunny in the afternoon. It will be cold.
In the Central region, from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, this week there is mainly no rain, early morning there is fog and scattered light fog, sunny afternoon. Cold weather.
Also during the forecast period, from Da Nang to Binh Thuan, it will be sunny during the day and no rain at night. In the North, on January 18, there will be scattered rain; in the North, from January 18 to 20, it will be cold at night and early morning.
Meanwhile, these days in the Central Highlands and the South maintain the pattern of sunny days and no rain at night; in the Central Highlands, it is cold at night and in the morning.

According to the meteorological agency, around January 26-27 (ie 27-28 Tet), a strong cold air mass will return to the north of our country.
Therefore, during the main days of Tet (January 26-31, or the 27th to the 3rd day of Tet), the North is affected by the Northeast monsoon, the weather turns cold, the mountainous areas have severe cold, and the Northeast has days with light rain and drizzle.
The North Central region has light rain in some places, cold weather. The Central and South Central regions have scattered rain and showers (rainy time is concentrated before January 28 (29th of Tet).
The Central Highlands and the South generally have little rain and sunny weather (no heat).
Meteorological experts say that during Tet there will be more cold spells, but they will not be as strong as the cold spell on January 26. On the first and third days of Tet, the North will maintain low temperatures, with the possibility of light rain and drizzle, then stabilize in the first days of February.
Also according to the forecast, in February, cold air will be strong and cause severe cold, especially in the northern mountainous provinces, accompanied by frost and snow.
In addition, during the 2025 Lunar New Year, the coastal areas of the Southeast region will be affected by a high tide from January 30 to February 2 (the 2nd to 5th day of the Lunar New Year). The highest peak tide during this period can reach 4.1m, causing localized flooding in some coastal areas and river mouths.
