Just days after launching Copilot for Android, Microsoft released the app for iOS and iPadOS. Both versions are now available on the Apple App Store.

The app allows you to access Microsoft Copilot (formerly Big Chat) and functions similarly to OpenAI's ChatGPT mobile app. In addition to asking questions, composing emails, and summarizing text, you can create images thanks to its integration with the Dal-E3 text-to-image creation tool.

Unlike the free ChatGPT version which runs on GPT-3.5, Copilot allows users to access GPT-4, OpenAI's latest large language model, without paying a fee.

By rebranding from Bing Chat to Copilot, Microsoft is aiming to provide a standalone experience, similar to ChatGPT. Along with introducing apps for Android and Apple devices, the Windows manufacturer has also created a dedicated website for Copilot, separate from Bing.

Previously, OpenAI released the ChatGPT app for iPhone in May.
