Microsoft adds new Intel CPUs.

This list currently includes chips that will run the latest available version of the Windows client, Windows 11 23H2 (referred to as the Windows 11 2023 update).

Although many Intel CPUs were announced after AMD, they are already on the list of hardware compatible with Windows 11.

The company has introduced several new Intel processor models, both for desktop computers and mobile devices.

However, Microsoft made no changes to the AMD lineup. While it could be argued that no new AMD processors have been widely announced since the last update in July and August, it's still surprising that Microsoft added several newly released Intel CPUs from the Meteor Lake line, announced a week after AMD launched the AMD 8040 and 8050 lines. Like Meteor Lake, these new AMD CPUs also feature neural processing units (NPUs), which are dedicated AI hardware processors designed to accelerate AI-based tasks and the upcoming next-generation Windows (Windows 12).

Therefore, this also means that the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D, AMD's first mobile processor with 3D V cache, is still not on the list, although systems equipped with this chip, such as Intel's unannounced CPUs like the Core i9-14900HX, Core i7-14700HX, and i7-14650HX, are already on the list.

The list of Qualcomm processors compatible with Windows 11 also remains unchanged.
