KG Motors - a Hiroshima-based startup (founded in 2022) is attracting attention with the launch of a micro-electric car called Mibot, designed specifically for crowded urban environments. |

Since its appearance on social networks, KG Motors' Mibot has quickly caused a stir with its small appearance. With overall dimensions of length x width x height of 2,490 x 1,130 x 1,465 mm, this model is even smaller than the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV and only slightly longer than a Honda SH motorbike. |

The Mibot's design is typical of Japanese "kei cars", with classic round headlights and friendly lines. Despite its modest body, the car is still fully equipped with amenities, including: an 8-inch touch screen, air conditioning system, wireless connectivity, remote software update (OTA) feature and panoramic glass roof. |

In terms of performance, Mibot is equipped with a 7.68 kWh battery pack, allowing the vehicle to travel a maximum distance of 100 km after a full charge with a 100V AC power source (charging time is about 5 hours). The maximum speed of the vehicle reaches 60 km/h, enough for personal travel needs in the inner city. |

KG Motors asserts that the majority of people in Japan today use cars for short distances, often with only one person in the car. |

According to the company, conventional car models, even in the minicar segment, are "over-featured" compared to actual needs, leading to unnecessary waste of costs and energy. Mibot was developed as an optimized solution to this problem. |

KG Motors is expected to officially launch Mibot 2026 for about 1.1 million yen (equivalent to about 197 million VND) and deliver the first batch of 3,000 vehicles in 2026. |

While not for everyone, Mibot is paving a new path for urban mobility, where neatness, efficiency, and personal experiences are paramount. |
